Car crashes
The first week after a crash sets up the claim
Most people call after an insurer has already phoned them. That's fine. We start from wherever you are: what you've been told, what you've signed and what you still have.
Rafaela does the part you can't do from a hospital bed or a repair-shop waiting room: gathering the records, answering the insurers and waiting until your treatment shows what the injury will really cost.
Your own insurer and theirs
Medical bills and missed work
Lasting injuries, not just the first estimate

What we do
The first thirty days, step by step
- 01
Get you seen and documented
If you haven't had care yet, we help you find it. We ask for the records as they're made.
- 02
Take the insurers off your phone
We tell them to call the office, and we read anything they send before you sign it.
- 03
Save the scene
Photos, the police report number, the car itself if it hasn't been repaired, and the names of anyone who saw it.
- 04
Wait for the picture to settle
We don't put a number on a claim while you're still healing. An early offer is often the lowest you'll see.
What a claim can include
Beyond the repair bill
Medical care
Treatment you have had and the care your doctors expect you will need.
Lost income
Pay you missed, and any loss in what you can earn from here on.
Pain and change
The pain, and the things you used to do that now take planning.
The vehicle
Repairs, or the value of the car if it was totaled, and a rental while you wait.
Questions
Common after a car crash
The other driver's insurer offered to pay my bills. Should I take it?
Read what you'd sign first. A release can end the claim for everything, including treatment you haven't had yet. Send it to us before you do anything.
What if I was partly at fault?
Fault is often shared, and sharing it doesn't always end a claim. The rules differ, and we'll explain how they apply to yours.
What if the other driver had no insurance?
Your own policy may cover you against uninsured and underinsured drivers. We check it, because few people read that part.
Do I need a doctor if I feel fine?
See one. Some injuries show up days later, and a gap in treatment is the first thing an insurer points to.
